The Secret Is Not Really… A Secret!

Ok, I want to say that what I’ve uncovered is not really a secret except you have not taken time to figure this out before now. When I say it's a secret uncovered, I’m actually using that phrase as a personal experience. Yes, it's a secret to many of us but for those who have looked carefully at what the probloggers are doing; it is simply an open secret!

So what is this secret?

Please read carefully…

Six Figure Income Blogging Is More Than Likely Not Done With One Single Blog!

In simple terms, you cannot achieve a six figure income running just one blog. It would take many many blogs to create a six figure income! This is the one secret that has set the probloggers from the pack.

The truth is there is so much that one blog can earn for you! You may be the most wonderful blogger out there but if all your labor is focused on just one blog, you might just be working a job and not building an online business.

How To Put This Six Figure Income Blogging Secret To Work

If you are a blogger who is finding it hard to maintain just one blog, your concern may be, how do you expect to run multiple blogs concurrently when running one is already taking much of your time? If this is your concern then the following may be of help. These are some of the things these probloggers are doing that many of us are not doing right now. From my studies if you'll add these ones to what you're already doing, you'll be on your way to making your own six figure income as a blogger very soon.

1. Be an Entrepreneur and Not Just a Blogger

Sometime ago I wrote a blog post on how to build a business and not just a blog. The truth is making a six figure income blogging demands the mindset of an entrepreneur. If you are still seeing yourself as just a blogger you'll be missing a whole lot of things. I think this blog post by Yaro Starak will give you an idea about what I’m talking about here. The lesson I learnt from that post is simply the fact that you must be an entrepreneur to make the kind of money you desire as a blogger.

2. Develop Systems

The first thing you should do is to document your blogging activities with the mind of developing systems you can put into use at any time. One of the gains of developing systems is that with such systems you'll be able to accomplish more with less time. With a tested and trusted system you can easily transfer that knowledge to other markets without much stress.

3. Outsource Your Work

If you truly want to make a six figure income as a blogger then outsourcing some work to others is not a bad idea. Doing all of the work yourself is not something that is possible if you want to make that amount of money. Just be sure that you hire those that you can trust and have a great reputation for getting work done on time and accurately. If you've developed systems as suggested above outsourcing your work to others will be much easier as you will be able to decide on an outline of what is needed and provide these to the people you're hiring. This will ensure that your work can be done to specification. For example you may need some persons to set up your blogs others to write the content for the blogs and yet others to market them using social networking sites. Once your systems are in place all these activities will be done with much ease and to specification. The good news is that you can easily find experts on particular markets in places like this one and pay them for the rights to their articles.

Conclusion: I believe making a six figure income with blogs is definitely something you can do as a blogger. The first thing that you would need to do is find profitable markets. Set up multiple blogs in these markets and then get the right people to manage the blogs for you.  Just be sure that you hire those that know what they are doing and are fluent in the language that you are marketing in as well. Someone that speaks and writes poor English will not help your income, but may hurt it if you have English based readers.

Over to you: Do you agree with the points raised in this article? Do you think having the mindset of an entrepreneur can really help you earn more with your blogging activities? 1. This makes sense to me. It like owning one restaurant or a dozen. Which will make you the most in the long run.

Also outsourcing is essential because you would eventually get burned out.

    • Hi Justin, you got right there. I think that’s one of the reasons why many of us are into this online thing 🙂 But what many do not know is that there is so much work involved especially when you’re just starting out.

Glad to see you open the comments!

The problem isn’t that no one knows it, the problem is, few can pull it off successfully.

They can’t handle multiples on their own for one reason or another and can’t afford to hire.

    A catch-22 at it’s finest.

    • @Dennis, Oh then it’s not a ‘secret’ then!:)

When you are in a situation of such then working it out by yourself is important. Start somewhere and plough back your earnings. It all takes your vision and persistence.

  3. Finding a profitable market is hard to find these days since the world wide web is booming with hundreds of blogs everyday

  4. You make a very good point here, Chadrack. It’s the difference between a self-employed employee of their one small business, and an entrepreneur who understands the power of leverage.

Multiple blogs leverages time and resources; one blog is just not going to cut it.

I’ve been considering just giving up writing my own book for my parenting blog, and outsourcing it (providing tons of notes and outlines, though!). In the long run, it will get my goals achieved much faster than waiting for my little 8 month-old to grow old enough that she doesn’t have to live each moment in my arms or in my lap! =)

And I admit, I don’t have the patience to wait for that. I want to start making money online NOW, dash it all!

    Delena

    • @Delena, who really have that patience! 🙂 But I do think you have a very good plan there. Put down some good notes and outline and then let them work on it. You know you could cut down the time of release by half! Think like an entrepreneur.

  5. “I believe making a six figure income with blogs is definitely something you can do as a blogger.” – Agreed. But you would have to work darn hard!

    • @Christopher, it’s the working darn hard that many are missing. If you understand what working on one blog entails, think of what working on 3,4,5 blogs will do to you. But the  truth is, if you want to make money online forget the hype they have sold you. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to sweat! 🙂

  6. Hi, Chadrack. I’m new here but this post made me stop and read and … comment.
You have opened my eyes – I couldn’t understand how it is possible to get so much money from one blog. Now I see – a blog is just a part of a big machine called online business. And all those people who claim big earnings from just writing are simply deceiving us.
I like the manner of your writing, by the way.

    • @DiNaRa, glad to have been able to make an impact on you and I appreciate your comment. When you get the picture right things really fall into shape. I think many more people are seeing the picture much more clearer now than some years ago. Making money online is not bread and butter. It’s building a business and building a business takes time, resources and energy!
Thanks for joining the conversation. And by the way, will love to see you around again! 🙂

  7. Chadrack,
There is one thing that annoys me: when people claim they earn a fortune and provide some blurred phrases. I prefer facts and details. Here I got some – for example, that some posts are lying (I’m not talking about yours 🙂 )
You CAN earn big money but after you work hard, long and study at the same time. Moreover, you can’t be an expert in everything connected with online so you need help of others (outsourcing).
To my mind, in order to be successful you need patience, knowledge, money and guts.

    • Hi Anna, the good thing is that most of these claims are gradually fading out as more and more people are getting to know the truth about making money online. Before now most people thought the internet was a magic tool that spills money once you set up a website. But with more information being revealed by a few bloggers who, having experienced these things for themselves, a whole lot of things are getting into shape. Thanks for stopping by.

  8. Hi Chadrack,

I agree with everything that you say in this post. One blog would normally bring only (say) 20% to 35% of your income. That’s what the probloggers tell us. The rest of the income is through consulting or more blogs.

The other point that I’d like to make is that there is a similarity between bloggers and musicians. There are millions of musicians in the world who earn (say) just $1000 per month from playing live. However, there are hundreds of musicians who earn (say) $2,000,000 per month from playing live.

The well-paid musicians aren’t necessarily better artists, they’re just lucky. It’s the same with bloggers.

    • Hi Russell, this your comment has elicited some debate. There is a blog post built around the issues you raised. Read it here and add your comments.

  9. Great article and information. I think that one big downfall for so many internet marketer is they don’t give it the time to develop and generate the traffic needed to make that six figure income. They forget about marketing and bookmarking your site and getting the word out. They get caught up with make $1 a day per blog schemes when you need to advertise and market them before you can make anything.

I just started blogging and made my blog http://www.easysixfigureincome.com/ come check it out
