A few minutes ago I followed a comment by love moneymaker and landed on his blog where he posted a really informative video on internet marketing. The video was put together by Antone Roundy of http://whitehatcrew.com/.

After watching the video I couldn’t resist the urge to put it here for you. I believe it’s a video you definitely need to watch. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re already making some progress this video will truly de-glaze your eyes!

One particular thing I’ll want to point out from the video is this guy’s emphasis on building a emailing list early in your online business. I just couldn’t miss this as I’ve found myself hearing that for the forth time this very week and that from very respectable voices on the net.

In fact after reading “Talking Down A Suicidal Blogger” which you can download free from this site, I’m already working on this all important aspect of marketing online. It is not that I’m hearing this for the first time neither is it something new to me as I’ve used it to build some lists in some niche markets. But since starting this blog after listening to many blogger who prefer RSS feed subscriptions to email subscription because of the increase of spam emails and spurious email promotions I removed the email optin form from the blog.

In fact after reading “Talking Down A Suicidal Blogger” which I download free a few days ago, I’m already working on this all important aspect of my online business. It is not that I’m hearing this for the first time as I’ve used it to build some lists in some niche markets. But since starting this blog after listening to many bloggers who prefer RSS feed subscriptions to email because of the increase of spam and spurious email promotions I removed the email optin form from this blog.

However, “Talking Down A Suicidal Blogger” has simply opened my eyes to some reasons why an email list is much of a better way of building relationship with your blog readers than a RSS feed. And understanding that this blog is truly for building relationships with my readers I’m already thinking of bringing back the email optin form. Some internet marketers may be dubious about the use of the email list but that does not remove the fact that it can also be used for better things. I truly recommend that you download your free copy of the special report and read it.

Sorry I got carried away by that but hearing about the need to build a mailing list in this video once again has reinforced my desire to have the optin form back in this blog. That will be coming in a few days.

There’s something I’ve find myself doing every day as a blogger. I’ve discovered this to be an addiction lately. I Don’t know about you but I’ve discovered I’m always on the look out for tools and resources that will help me be a better blogger!

Every day when I log on to the internet I found myself scouting for just the right tools or information that will change my lot for the better as a blogger. And so when a few hours ago I got an email from Pawan Agrawal of MaxBlogPress with a link to download a free PDF report I didn’t hesitate to get a copy of the PDF.

In case you’re not familiar with MaxBlogPress, they are well known for their powerful wordpress plugins. some of their plugins include banner ad, stripe ad, ping optimizer, email subscription plugin, etc. I’ve been using some of their plugins for a long time now and I recieved that email because I’m subscribed to their email notification list.

Now back to the main issue.

Like I said anything that will help me be a better blogger is always welcome as I am concerned. So I wasted no time in downloading the free report titled: “Talking Down a Suicidal Blogger” Some title there! Of course I was a littled intrigued by the title. But most of all I must say the content of the free report is something else.

Now if you’re like me then you must have heard it from different quarters that it is hard to make money blogging especially without a proven strategy. I personally can testify to the truth of this.

Of course there are other things about blogging that I’ve also heard. But the truth is that not many of these people ever really spell out what sets the real blog “gurus” apart from the “hobby” bloggers. They never tell us why most people make a few bucks here and there but nothing more.

Most of us got into blogging because we know that in some cases blogging can be a highly profitable business. Probloggers like Darren Rowse can testify to this.
